These terms apply to your use of vedhatrust.org, run by Vedha Trust, a registered public charitable trust in The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu (Trust Registration No. 4/34/2018). By using this website or donating through it, you agree to these terms.

1. Donations

  • All donations are voluntary and are used for the Trust’s charitable activities, including free meals (Anna Seva), yoga, natural healing and counselling programmes.
  • Online donations are processed securely by Razorpay. Donations by UPI, QR code or bank transfer go directly to the Trust’s State Bank of India account.
  • Donations are eligible for tax benefit under Section 80G of the Income-tax Act, 1961, as per the Trust’s approval in force. To receive an 80G receipt, please give your correct name, address and PAN. The Trust is not responsible for loss of tax benefit caused by incorrect or missing details.
  • Please check the amount and payee details before paying. Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

2. Book Your Day sponsorships

  • A booking is confirmed only after we receive your payment and our team confirms the date with you.
  • Dates are subject to availability. If a date cannot be served, we will offer another date or a refund as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • By uploading a photo and name, you confirm that you have the right to share them and agree that we may display them in connection with your sponsored day.

3. Reviews and content you submit

Reviews, photos and videos you submit must be your own, truthful and lawful. We may check, edit for length, decline or remove any submission. By submitting, you allow us to publish it on this website and our social media.

4. Website content

Text, photographs, logos and other material on this website belong to Vedha Trust or are used with permission. You may share our pages for non-commercial purposes with credit to Vedha Trust, but you may not copy or reuse them otherwise without our written consent.

5. Links to other sites

This website links to services such as Razorpay, WhatsApp, Instagram and YouTube. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

6. Limitation of liability

We try to keep this website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, the Trust is not liable for any indirect loss arising from use of the website.

7. Privacy

Our use of your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Udhagamandalam, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu shall have jurisdiction over any dispute.
