Our flagship service feeds pregnant mothers in government free hospitals and their attendants, roadside destitute people and anyone facing hunger in The Nilgiris, free of cost.
From 50 meals to 300+ every day
During the COVID-19 pandemic, as the livelihoods of our hill-tribe communities were severely affected, Vedha Trust started a free food distribution drive. We began modestly, feeding 50 people a day.
Seeing the lack of income and the low standard of living in these hilly areas, the initiative steadily grew. Today Vedha Trust prepares and serves more than 300 free meals every day.
